Many of my friends ask me, ‘What do you actually do for a living?’ I say ‘I help foreigners’. In many aspects.

Every time I meet another non-Pole I learn something new about some other country – its culture, customs, language and people. It’s a bit like traveling around the world without moving from the spot.

Interestingly, working with foreigners gives me also an opportunity to learn more about Poland and Polish people. This is thanks to getting another perspective on well-known quite ordinary things perceived differently by people who encounter them for the first time.

And above all that – I simply like people. No matter where they come from.
